Abstract

One of the most striking features of the contemporary American political scene is the entry of religious fundamentalists into partisan politics. Until relatively recently - perhaps the past fifteen years - many fundamentalists intentionally steered clear of the political arena, rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesar's.
